What Escape is
Escape is an iPhone app and widget that shows one direct flight a day from a home airport you choose, with an indication of the destination's typical climate and, where one has been observed, a fare. It helps you notice a trip; it does not sell flights, hotels or anything else.
Information, not offers
- A fare shown as "from £X" is a fare that was observed by our data partner on the date the app states. It is indicative. Fares change constantly and the price you see on the booking site may differ.
- Temperatures are long-term climate normals (1991–2020) for the month, not forecasts. They tell you what a month is typically like, not what the weather will be.
- "Most days" describes a route's typical schedule and is not a guarantee of any specific flight on any specific day.
- Escape is not a travel agent, airline or booking service. Bookings are made on third-party sites under their terms.
Affiliate links
When you tap a booking link, you are taken to a partner site (Aviasales via Travelpayouts for flights; Booking.com for hotels). If you book, Escape may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which flight is shown or the fare displayed.
Escape Plus subscription
- Escape Plus is an auto-renewing subscription with two lengths: £1.99 per month, or £9.99 per year. There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings app, under your Apple ID's Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the period you already paid for ends.
- Apple, not Escape, is the merchant of record for this purchase and handles billing, invoicing and payment method changes directly.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's own refund policies — request one through Apple, not through Escape.
- Plus unlocks: ranking your priorities, moods, up to five shuffles a day, and a chosen refresh cadence and time. Free features are not removed.
Acceptable use
Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service or our data files.
Liability
Escape is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information in the app, for the content or availability of third-party sites, or for loss arising from a fare or schedule that has changed. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
